August 6th at 4pm
This Thursday August 6th at 16:00 there will be a Special Membership Meeting to pass the motion below. If passed this will allow the Union to access Strike Averting Funds at no cost to the union to lanch a campaign against Granite Ridge and Siena to assert pressure to bargain fairly and get you all the pay increases you deserve.
Special membership meetings allow the discussion of only one topic and no other questions will be transacted during this meeting. The Union will have a General Membership Meeting in the near future to discuss Bargaining updates.
MOTION
CUPE Local 4540 would support taking job action at Granite Ridge Care community to support the bargaining committee's efforts to get a fair deal
