What bargaining looks like

October 15th was our first day of bargaining for our new Collective Agreement.

The picture on the left, the table with the nicely organized papers is some of the documentation we use in negotiations. This is collected into binders and scanned allowing quick access when needed as we discuss proposals with the hospital.

The picture on your left is your bargaining committee, hard at work on day one. Hours before we meet with the hospital we go through the proposals again, discuss the merits of each one and formulate a plan to best represent the hard working members of Cupe 4540.

We have 3 more days books and are looking forward to another successful round of bargaining.
